The Cucamonga Service Station is owned and operated by Route 66 Inland Empire California (IECA) a registered 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to identify and work to preserve historically significant sites along Route 66 in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. In 2013 the association gained title to the Cucamonga Service Station and with the help of volunteers from the community and generous donors the station was restored and re-opened in 2015.

Route 66 IECA relies on four groups of people to remain successful:

1. Governance
Route 66 IECA is governed by a member elected Board of Directors and an appointed President who direct the vision and mission of the organization and manage the administrative operations.

2. Volunteers
Volunteers are the backbone of the organization. With no paid staff, the station is manned by volunteer docents with a love of local Cucamonga history and our rich Route 66 heritage. Volunteers also help with fundraising events throughout the year.

3. Donors and Business Partners
Our generous donors and business partners are vital to the ongoing effort of the preservation and restoration of this beloved Route 66 landmark.

4. Supporters and Members
Our association members and the supporters from around the world who visit the station each week expressing their gratitude for the preservation of the site and the enjoyment they have when visiting.
