Construction Plans

While our visitors greatly enjoy the nostalgia of our small gas station, many are not aware that it is only a very small portion of what the original Cucamonga Service Station site looked like. When it was built in 1915 the site included a large garage that spanned the back of the property.

Unfortunately, the garage was lost due to a fire and roof collapse prior to our acquisition of the property and the garage was demolished out of safety concerns.

Our goal is to reconstruct the garage thereby greatly expanding the space for museum exhibits and enhancing the experience for our visitors. You can be a part of this phase of the restoration and ensure that the station and garage will last for generations to come as a reminder of our Route 66 story.
